Aduki Beans and Quinoa with Parsley and Carrots

This macrobiotic dish is a balancing vegan dish. It's earthy in character and can be accompanied with steamed root veggies. Generally I would eat this type of dish in fall and winter. This is a grain-based dish and goes well with steamed greens and Poached Wild Salmon.


*A Macrobiotic diet consists of the balance between ying and yang foods. Foods are expanding and contracting- the diet balances these. Aduki Beans are a staple in the diet.
